National Microchipping month

The Barrier Animal Care Clinic in South East London is, once again, joining the National Microchipping Month that will be running in June 2009. The scheme is coordinated by The Kennel Club and will give owners a BIG discount on microchipping their pets.

The aim of National Microchipping Month is to encourage and promote responsible pet ownership through microchipping as the preferred method of permanent identification.

The campaign hopes to ensure pet owners are aware of the importance of microchipping their pets. In the event that their pet should go missing, reunification is an option when the pet is found.
